We recently had some concrete poured in various places in our yard. Mainly, we widened our driveway and put in curbing around our flower beds.

The DrivewayThis use to be grass with a little dirt around the base of this tree. Now we want to make it a flower bed. Haven't got that far yet. We can't drive on it yet, but eventually the red car can be parked over more to allow easier accesibility in and out of the garage. This will also work out well when we get rid of the red car and get something bigger, like a truck.
The Side Yards
We got an estimate on pouring concrete in one of the side yards and decided it was too expensive for what we were getting. So we considered gravel. The landscape guy told us he could get us some rock at a good price. So he dropped a load of rock in our driveway and we hauled it into our side yard. He gave us way more then we needed so we did the other side too. Before this area was only a home for weeds.

Your yards look so nice. I am a little jealous actually. We only have grass at the moment. All of our beds are totally bare. One day they will look nice like yours.
I like the look of the curbing all around the backyard. Your whole yard looks very nice. You will enjoy having that wider driveway, especially with that new truck someday!
Looks like it turned out really nice! That gravel can be a lot of work!
