Camping at Lake Cushman

We left on Father's Day for a few days of camping with my sister Lisa and her family.Kami and Logan spent a lot of time in this playpen keeping each other company. They didn't like it but sometimes entertained us with their cage wrestling. After dinner the first night we made apple pie on a stick. Lisa and I found the recipe online and it was so yummy! You just roast green apples like you would marshmallows until the skin starts to peel. Peel off all the skin roll it in cinnamon and sugar. Then put it back over the fire for a few minutes to carmelize the sugar. It really tasted like apple pie!The kids spent a lot of time riding their bikes around the campground. Here's Jacob on his tricycle trying so hard to keep up with all the other kids on 2-wheelers.
Katie and Ian had fun "offroading" it.Jason and Ellie were allowed to "do the loop" and go around the whole campground. The other kids just had to go back and forth and stay by our campsite. During the day we pretty much had the swimming area to ourselves, which was good because we took up a lot of space. All the kids had a turn driving the SeaDoos with Daddy. Katie enjoyed it more then we thought she would. Me and Lisa tearing it up. We didn't like to do donuts like the guys. We like to look for wake and catch some air. Which was hard to find because there weren't a lot of boats out.
Luke and Jacob floating close to the shore. Someone needs to tell them, when you wave at the camera, don't do it right in front of your face.
Logan had rough couple of days not being able to get down and crawl around very much. But he didn't mind being held by Mommy.
Justin helped all the kids swim out to this island.

On the last day the kids had their bikes at the beach, the water was really shallow so they had a good time riding their bikes right into it. It also helped wash off all the camping dirt.

What a fun vacation, I liked watching the kids riding bikes into the lake, that is something they will remember all their lives. Next year poor little Kami and Logan will be able to be out of the cage.
