Each month at the kid's elementary school they learn about a positive character trait and at the end of the month there is an assembly where 2 kids from each class are recognized for representing that trait. September was Responsibilty, and both Katie and Jason were chosen. In Jason's class the student's voted and in Katie's class her teacher chose her. I am so proud of both of them for being responsible students.
The picture is a little dark because my flash couldn't reach that far, but here's Jason shaking the hands of the other teacher's after receiving his award.
